Ms. Hicks is a native of North Carolina. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing at Sampson Community College, in Clinton, NC. Desiring to further her nursing education, she attended Fayetteville State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 

 

After working in various healthcare settings and seeing a lack of quality patient care, her goal was to become a Healthcare Practitioner to provide quality time, and compassionate care to patients, which results in higher quality healthcare. Ms. Hicks earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati and practices as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner - Certified. 

 

With broad nursing experience since 2014, she has served many diverse patients in acute and primary care settings, including, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Cardiology, Dialysis, and Community Health. Ms. Hicks is a certified NC Department of Transportation Medical Examiner and a Disability Medical Examiner for the US Department of Veterans Affairs and the NC Department of Health and Human Services. She brings quality service to our community and our nation’s Veterans with a commitment to providing a better patient healthcare experience and building stronger patient-provider relationships.
